The Challenge of this project was to add an art-building section to the four different schools behind the Patras Archeological Museum while keeping their educational character intact. We placed a big structure (that's supposed to be made out of pretty lightweight materials) on top of the existing schools. Four big pylons placed on each corner support the spatial structure that keeps everything together. The art-building facilities are suspended from this bridge-like structural system. The basement acts as a parking providing access to the existing and new spaces through vertical circulation.
