2030 Pharmacy
Nowadays, pharmacies don’t comply with the FIP (International Pharmaceutical Federation) goals, since they have more of a commercial character. With our approach, we emphasize on the provision of primary health care. The development of telemedicine plays a critical role in our design process. The main idea is that the human factor and technology work together, providing essential services. A key element is the reception counter, which serves as a storage area for medicines as well as place of assistance to the visitors. Awareness of health issues is raised through strategically placed displays. The delivery of medicines straight to the door is very important to us, therefore we introduce a home delivery service. The visitor receives assistance from the staff instead of just shopping for products. In the stock room, the distribution is organized, the medicines are stored and through it the counters are supplied. The care rooms are isolated from the rest of the pharmacy. The auxiliary rooms are placed in the lofts of the two pharmacies, maintaining visual contact with the reception counters. In conclusion, our pharmacy proposal represents a significant departure from the traditional model, which focuses solely on dispensing medications. Our proposal combines technology and human interaction, being easily adaptable to different spaces.
